Jerome Winner
Jerome J. Winner, age 81, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
He was born February 24, 1935, in Sharpsburg, to the late Alex & Alma (Schoen) Winner. On July 10, 1954, he married Rita (Muhlenkamp), who survives in Coldwater.
He is also survived by four children, Mike & Joyce Winner of Coldwater, Bob & Kathy Winner of Minster, Don & Miriam Winner of Coldwater and Cathy & Lee Owens of Celina, ten grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother, Kenny Winner of Sidney, and in-laws, Kenny Schlater of Burkettsville and Bill & Sue Muhlenkamp of Celina.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Schlater.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater, the Coldwater Knights of Columbus Council #1991, volunteered for the Holy Trinity Food Pantry and Maria Stein Relic Chapel. Jerry loved and enjoyed his family and their activities.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday and 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
