Terry J. Wenning, age 67, of Coldwater, died Friday, April 8, 2016 at Community Hospital, Coldwater. He was born August 23, 1948 in Celina to the late Donald & Marjorie (Boise) Wenning.

On June 15, 2002 he married Karen (Boeckman) Brandon-Wenning and she survives in Coldwater.

He is also survived by a son Aaron Wenning of Dayton; step children Regan & Jenny Brandon of Coldwater and Sean Brandon & Danielle Werner of Kohler, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; siblings Tim & Kay Wenning of Celina, Tom Wenning of Denver, Colorado and Brenda & Jim Karafit of Montezuma; in laws Terry & Margie Boeckman of Coldwater, Mike & Darcy Boeckman of Cornelius, North Carolina, Rick & Shirley Boeckman of Coldwater, Deb & Tom Ritter of Scotch Plains, New Jersey, Lori Boeckman of Coldwater and Angie & Tom Borders of Portland, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and a member of the Coldwater Eagles. Terry was an animal advocate who loved camping, traveling and was a longtime NASCAR Fan. He retired from General Motors in Dayton and currently worked at True Value Hardware in Minster.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Coldwater United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends after 10 am at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to any local organization for animal care.
