Vonola Myers
Vonola M. Myers, 88, passed away after her battle with cancer Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Born in Convoy, OH, Vonola graduated from Ossian High School as well as International Business College. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was an active member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading and stamp collecting.
Surviving are her husband, Roger Myers, of Fort Wayne, sons, Larry (Cheryl) Myers of Lombard, IL, Dale Myers of Brookline, MA, Carl (Cheri) Myers of Avilla; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Vonola was preceded in death by her parents, Orley and Garnetta Barkley, siblings Frances Soldner, Lois Strickler, James Barkley; and granddaughter, Jamie Myers.
Service is 11:00 am, Monday, May 16, 2016 at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters Road with calling one hour prior.
