At 646 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Van Wert to near Monroe, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Rockford, Mendon, Chattanooga, and Tama.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Marie Huelsman
Marie C. Huelsman, age 96 of St. Henry, died on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Gardens at St. Henry.
She was born on August 15, 1919 in Ft. Loramie to the late Frank & Mary (Schmitmeyer) Meyer. On June 26, 1943 she married Ralph L. Huelsman, and he died January 7, 2005.
She is survived by children, Barbara & Michael Gerard, Wooster, Marcia & Jerry Jackson, Alexandria, Karen & James Jilek, Gahanna, Jerry & Cindy Huelsman, St. Henry, and Mary Jane D'Eramo, Tyler TX. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 13 step great-grandchildren; siblings, Roman Meyer, Coldwater, Urban & Eileen Meyer, Minster, Rita Wuebker, Minster, Dolores Vollmer, New Bremen, Martha Jean Kemper, Minster; and in-laws, Mary Ann & Robert Oppenheim, Centerville, Myrna & Thomas Livingston, Union City, IN, and Benita O'Meara, California.
She is preceded in death by a son Thomas & Roberta Huelsman; sons in-law, Richard Berube, and Mark D'Eramo, siblings, Robert Meyer, Vera & Lawrence Schmiesing, Esther & Ralph Frey; and in-laws, Stanley Wuebker, Robert Vollmer, Larry Kemper, Mary Ann Meyer, Myron & Martha Huelsman, Arthur & Mary Huelsman, Louis & Maryilyn Huelsman, Irma Fossie, and Rita Huelsman.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, the Ladies Altar Rosary Sodality, and the church prayer ministry. Marie was also a member of the St. Henry American Legion Auxiliary, and was a past volunteer at Mercer County Community Hospital.
Marie was a devoted wife and loving mother, and enjoyed attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities. She had formerly worked for Beckman & Gast canning factory, as well as in the St. Henry School Cafeteria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 until 8 pm Thursday and 9:00 until 10:00 am Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorial Contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
