Ronald Lindemeyer
Ronald W. Lindemeyer, age 78, of Celina, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning May 26, 2016.
He was born on Nov. 26, 1937 in Bowling Green, Ohio to the late William Henry & Pearl Marie (Borcherding) Lindemeyer. On Nov. 22, 1959 he married Janet Teeters, who lives in Celina.
Also surviving are his children Julia Lindemeyer-Thomes of Pedro, Laura & Tim Miller of Avon, IN, Daniel & Gayle Lindemeyer of Virginia Beach, VA, Christina Lindemeyer of Celina, nine grandchildren Jeff W. & Kim Lindemeyer, Troy M. Thomes, Tyler Miller, Katelyn & Jake Boyce, Jacob Miller, Shaun & Sarah Lindemeyer, Travis Lindemeyer, Justin Lindemeyer, seven great grandchildren Leah, Jacob, Nicholas, Madelyn, Henry, Caden and Blake Lindemeyer, his sister Marlene Leugers of Wauseon, a sister-in-law Joyce Lindemeyer of Bowling Green, and a brother-in-law Don Bricker of Celina.
He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Lindemeyer, and sisters & brothers-in-law Delores & Elwin Gee, Donna Bricker and Robert Leugers.
Ronald served his country in the United States Air Force as an Airman 1st Class and was a Celina Police officer from 1967 until 1981. He was a member of the Celina Church of the Nazarene and the F.O.P. Lodge #91. He was a talented man creating hand-carvings in leather, ceramics, woodworking and was an avid Cincinnati Reds Fan. His favorite pastime was collecting baseball cards, stamps, coins and watching birds. He enjoyed yard work, gardening and caring for all of his Shelties especially Princess.
A celebration of Ronald's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Celina Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Chris Riffel officiating.  Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Friday June 3, 2016 and from 10-11 on Saturday morning at the Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Celina Church of the Nazarene.
