A contractor on Tuesday morning dumps sand on the beach at Celina's Eastview Park. According to city safety director Tom Hitchcock, as many as 30 loads will be dumped to improve the beach. The project is estimated to cost $15,000 and will be paid through state capital budget funding awarded to Celina. The beach will remain closed until Thursday, Hitchcock said.
