* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken.

David Siefring

David J. "Doc" Siefring, age 76, of Philothea, Ohio, died on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at his home.

He was born August 19, 1939 in Philothea, to the late Bernard J. and Pauline (Dues) Siefring. On October 28, 1961, he married Eileen (Knapke) and she survives.

He is survived by four children, Bill & Ruth Siefring of Fort Recovery, Gary Siefring of Coldwater, Theresa & Tim Brady of Coldwater and Craig Siefring of Philothea, six grandchildren: Ray, Jessica, Eddie & Jason Siefring, Clay & Cole Brady; siblings, Luetta Forsthoefel, Bernice & Don Wellman and Herbert Siefring all of Coldwater Gerald Siefring and Roger & Rose Ann Siefring all of Philothea and in-laws, Mary Siefring of Coldwater, Mildred Siefring of Celina, Dorothy Siefring of Coldwater, Mar Jean & Lester Steinlage of Englewood and Jerry & Janice Knapke of Coldwater.

He is preceded in death by siblings Barthel Siefring, Omer & Monica Siefring, Orville & Jeannette Siefring, Bernard Siefring, Elmer Siefring and Charles Siefring and in-laws, Don Forsthoefel and Stella Siefring.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Philothea, Sons of the American Legion, Coldwater and NISCO Aerie FOE #3025, Coldwater. He was a lifelong farmer and was Road Superintendent for Butler Township.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Mary's Church, Philothea. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.

Memorials may be made to State of the Heart Care.
