The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Kay Maze
Mary Kay Maze, 90, formerly of Saint Marys, died July 11, 2016, at Otterbein of New Albany.
She was born November 1, 1925, in New Bremen, Ohio, the daughter of William and Clara (Heil) Huenke. She married Robert "Butch" Maze on August 18, 1946, and he preceded her in death on May 27, 1998.
She is survived by two children: Douglas (Jamie) Maze of Westerville; Lisa (Michael) Doseck of Marion, Ohio. She is survived by her grandchildren, Alexander Maze and Jacoby Maze. She is also survived by her sister, Dorothy (Chuck) Huwer of Saint Marys; her sister-in-law, Muriel Maze of Saint Marys; sister-in-law Lois Maze of Monroe, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Butch; by a daughter, Kathy Jo Maze; by two brothers-in-law, Jim Maze and Richard Maze. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jillian Maze.
Mary Kay was a 1943 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had worked as a retail clerk for many years at Jenny's Hat Shop and also Lawler's Green House in Saint Marys. She was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys.
Mary Kay loved her family very much and enjoyed following their sports activities. She was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed playing bridge with friends.
Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. Monday, July 18, 2016, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to either the Saint Marys Community Public Library or Young Life Northeast Columbus, 3758 North High Street, Ste. 302, Columbus, Ohio, 43214.
Private family burial rites will be held.
