James Wood
James A. Wood age 52 of Sidney, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2016 in Port Clinton, Ohio.
He was born on October 18, 1963 in Huntsville, Arkansas to the late Phyllis J (Kroft) Wood Egbert and Merritt M. Wood, Jr. He married Patty Gaier on May 11, 1991 at St. Michael Church, Ft. Loramie, Ohio and she survives in Sidney.
He is also survived by a son Alex Wood and a daughter Abby Wood & Jacob Grimes all of Sidney, brothers & sisters, Cathy Dotson, Columbus, IN, Janis & Don Jones, Elkhart, IN, David Wood Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tim & Joan Wood, Mansfield, OH, Priscilla Wood & Cathy Winston Cincinnati, OH and numerous nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Charlene Gaier, Ft. Loramie, Donna & Dan Wannemacher, Anna, Paul Gaier, Jr. Ft. Loramie, Tina & Robert Allen, Sidney.
He was preceded in death by parents, step father John Egbert and father-in-law Paul Gaier, Sr.
Jim was a ham radio operator and loved camping and fishing with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home Minster.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Minster on Friday, July 29, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
