The grand champion goat, shown by Mercer Choice 4-H member Taylor Muhlenkamp, daughter of Gary and Angie, sold Thursday at the Mercer County Fair for $1,700 to a group including Homestead Quality Bedding, K&L Tractor Sales, Overman Trucking, Kenn-Feld Group, Bruns Show Stock, Second National Bank, St. Henry Tile Co., Kerns Auto Group, DM Service & Repair LLC, Belna Petroleum, Cooper Farms, Tim McCaughey, Hemmelgarn & Sons, Hogenkamp Funeral Homes, M&S Accessories Plus, Pla-Mor Lanes, Burtch Seed, Florence Livestock and Coldwater Young Farmers. The reserve champion goat, also shown by Muhlenkamp, sold for $1,000 to a group including Homestead Quality Bedding, K&L Tractor Sales, Overman Trucking, Bruns Show Stock, St. Henry Tile Co., DM Service & Repair LLC, Belna Petroleum, Cooper Farms, Tim McCaughey, Hemmelgarn & Sons, Hogenkamp Funeral Homes, Winner & Sons, M&S Accessories Plus, Sutter Brothers and Coldwater Young Farmers.
