Beggars' night set in local communities

Area trick or treat and Halloween parades and parties will be at the following times and locations:
• Celina - Parade is at 2:30 p.m. and trick or treat is from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 30.
• Coldwater - Parade is at the pool parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and trick or treat is from 2-4 p.m.Oct. 30.
• Fort Recovery - Parade is at 3:15 p.m. and trick or treat is from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 30.
• Marion community - Party for sixth graders and younger is at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Catholic Financial Life Hall, Cassella.
• Minster - Trick or treat is from 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 27.
• Mendon - Trick or treat is from 4-6 p.m. Oct. 29 followed by costume judging at the fire department/township building. The fire department also will host a chili supper from 4-7 p.m. and will include soups, sandwiches, desserts and drinks.
• New Bremen - Trick or treat is 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 27. Cider Time Parade is Oct. 30. Participants should assemble in the parking lot north of the Komminsk Legacy Park at 1 p.m. The parade slated to start at 1:30 p.m.
• Rockford - Trick or treat is 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 29, followed by costume judging at the firehouse at 8 p.m.
• St. Henry - Parade is 1:30 p.m. and trick or treat is from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 30.
• St. Marys - Trick or Treat is 6-7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

Update:
NEW BREMEN - Trick or treat in the village has been postponed until 4:30-6 p.m. Sunday.
The change was due to the high school girls volleyball district tournament finals on Thursday night conflicting with the original trick or treat night.
The traditional Cider Time celebration also is set for Sunday. Parade participants should assemble at 1 p.m. in the parking lot north of the Komminsk Legacy Park. The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m.
