Marion Local faces Mechanicsburg in regional final

SIDNEY - Marion Local anticipated a tough challenge from St. Henry in Friday night's Division VI regional semifinal.   
And the Flyers got one.
In the end, defense and Duane Leugers lifted the top-ranked Flyers to a 22-0 victory at Sidney Memorial Stadium/ 30-0 Field and put them back in the regional final where, for the second consecutive season, they'll meet state-ranked Mechanicsburg. [More]

CELINA - City officials plan to spend more than $2 million to enchance the park system next year.
The bulk of that total will be paid with state capital funds awarded to Celina this year.
CELINA - A Wednesday traffic stop by Botkins police led to Thursday's arrest of a Celina man and the seizure of 3.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of more than $150,000, four firearms, three grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
ST. MARYS - When Kelly Wilker graduates in the spring, she'll leave a fine legacy with the cross country and track programs at St. Marys.
Wilker will continue her athletic career as the distance specialist after signing a national letter of intent with the University of Dayton on Friday.
