Construction work continues on a 30,000-square-foot addition at Thieman Tailgates. The expansion will increase the plant's size by 25 percent, giving the company at total of 185,000 square feet at the Celina facility on East Wayne Street. The addition is scheduled to be completed in 2017, the company's 30th year in town. The expansion will allow Thieman to create new positions in the welding and assembly areas.
