St. Marys shop hit by robber

ST. MARYS - Police are looking for a male involved in a reported armed robbery on Wednesday at Lester's Tobacco, 1592 Celina Road.
A male dressed entirely in black at about 6 p.m. brandished a weapon and demanded money from a tobacco shop employee, according to a St. Marys police news release.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is described as white, bald and about 6 feet tall. Officers reportedly are working with the business owner to obtain security camera footage.
The St. Marys K-9 unit was called to the scene to assist with the investigation and deputies from the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office assisted with the search.
Anyone having information about the robbery is asked to call the police department at 419-394-2325.
