Benita Rindler
Benita M. Rindler, age 84, of St. Henry, died on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born December 17, 1932 in Carthagena, to the late Raymond & Alma (Bertke) Broerman. On January 3, 1959 she married William H. "Sonny" Rindler in Cassella, and he died December 11, 1997.
She is survived by nine children: Bill & Christie Rindler of Rossburg, Denise Ahrns of Ft. Loramie, Randy & Deb Rindler of Tipp City, Curt & Patti Rindler of McCartyville, Karen & Frank Goffena of Maria Stein, Tony & Sandy Rindler of St. Henry, Jacqui & Steve Lehmkuhl of Tipp City, Gina Rindler of Sidney, and Tom & Lisa Rindler of Tipp City. Benita is also survived by 29 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; and siblings: Fred & Alma Broerman of Versailles, and Ed & Darlene Broerman of New Mexico; and in-laws: Mary Lou Broerman of St. Henry, Sr. Beth Rindler of Cincinnati, Jack & Beth Rindler of Troy and Ron & Doris Rindler of St. Henry.
She was preceded in death by a son in-law, Louis Ahrns; siblings: Irene & Arnie Fink, Daniel Broerman, Rose & Ray Bednarcik and John Broerman; and in-laws: Jean & Gene Buschur, Lavaun Rindler and Becky Rindler.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and the St. Henry Daughters of Isabella. Benita was also a member of the St. Henry American Legion Auxiliary, the Coldwater VFW Auxiliary, and had crocheted baby booties as a volunteer for Community Hospital. She also formerly worked at Hartwig's and Huffy's.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
