Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Luella R. Reinhart
Luella R. Reinhart, 83, Bryant, Indiana, died December 28, 2016 at Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN.
She was born May 29, 1933, in Mercer County, OH, to the late August and Catherine (Braun) Homan. On August 1, 1953, she married Eugene Reinhart, who survives.
Also surviving are eight children, Don (Deb) Reinhart of Celina, OH, Gary (Mary) Reinhart of Coldwater, OH, Jim (Karen) Reinhart of Fort Wayne, IN, Ken Reinhart of Bryant, IN, Bob (Dawn) Reinhart of Chesapeake, VA, Sharon (Paul) Link of Fort Recovery, OH, Dave (Sue) Reinhart of Shelbyville, IN and Connie Powers of Fishers, IN; three siblings, Jim Homan of Coldwater, OH, Mary Ann Luebke of Celina, OH and Verena Goettemoeller of Rockford, OH; 19 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Jean Homan of Angola, IN and Joy Homan of St. Marys, OH; in-laws, Mary & Charles Meier of Celina, OH, Norma Huelskamp of Topeka, KS, Carl & Janet Reinhart of Bryant, IN, Jim & Pat Reinhart of Centerville, OH and Judy & Jim Alig of Bryant, IN.
Preceding her in death are her brothers, Marvin (Mary Lou) Homan, Harold (Luella) Homan, Ivo (Betty) Homan, Robert Homan and Levern Homan; sisters, Esther (Leonard) Link and Alvira (Harry) Massonne and infant sister, Laura Homan; sister-in-law, Thelma Homan and brothers-in-law, Alvin Luebke and Alvin Goettemoeller.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana and its Altar Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, music and spending time with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, January 2, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana, Fr. David Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bryant. Calling is 2:00 pm-6:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
