* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Catching an ice wave

Sheets of ice earlier this week crest into an icy wave along the shoreline near Windy Point in Montezuma. After a recent warm-up, colder temperatures are expected this weekend with lows in the 20s, according to local weather forecaster Dennis Howick.
