* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Robert Schamp
Robert L. Schamp, 69, Saint Marys, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was born January 21, 1947, the son of Albert and June (Hansel) Schamp. His parents were killed in an auto accident, and he was adopted by Don and Miriam (Solomon) Schamp. He married Eileen Wibbeler on February 11, 1967, at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville; she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his children: Laura Schamp Hawkey of Saint Marys; Mark Schamp of Saint Marys; Melissa (Mark) Hegemann of Cincinnati; Anna (Michael) Noonan of Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by 12 grandchildren: Alisha (Sam) Merfeld; Bethany (Tyler) Corbitt; Jenna Hawkey; Kiley (Nic) Sawmiller; Josalyn Schamp; Nathan Hegemann; Joshua Hegemann; Andrew Hegemann; Alyvia Heggeman; Michael Noonan; Kyra Noonan; Ryan Noonan. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Daniel Merfeld; Kaylynn Merfeld; Jaxson Sawmiller. He is survived by a sister, Jeannette (Terry) Putt of Van Wert, and by many special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his adoptive parents.
Bob was a 1965 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Saint Marys, after more than 40 years of service.
Bob was a very active member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church, where he had served as Youth Leader for 36 years. He loved playing the guitar and harmonica, and performed worship music at the church for many years.
He had coached youth basketball, baseball and softball; he was a huge St. Marys Roughrider Fan and a longtime member of the Rider Rooter. Most of all, Bob loved spending time with his family and taking part in the grandkids' activities.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Pastor Bev Hurlburt, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 3-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
