* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Virginia Minch
Virginia Minch, age 87 a resident of Portland, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Centre.
She was a member of the Noble Twp. Busy Bees Home Economic Club, and a member of the Portland Evangelical Methodist Church.
She was born February 17, 1929 in Dunkirk, Indiana the daughter of Clay and Sadie (Hahn) Weaver. She was married on July 20, 1947 to Fred Minch and he passed away in 2001.
Survivors Include: 1 Son - Richard Minch, Portland, Indiana, 3 Daughters - Diana Roessner (husband-Dave), Wapakoneta, Ohio, Linda Vesperry (husband-Paul), Portland, Indiana, Brenda Stolz (husband-Bill), Portland, Indiana, 1 Sister - Mary Middleton, Englewood, Ohio, 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Arnold will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
Memorials may be directed to Jay County Humane Society or Jay County Cancer Society.
