Theresa Schipper
Theresa A. Schipper, 90, of Botkins, died at 2:24 p.m., Sun. Jan. 22, 2017, at the Ohio Living Dorothy Love, Sidney, OH.
She was born May 28, 1926, in Auglaize Co., the daughter of Oscar & Edith M. (Weadock) Stinebaugh, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 1947, she married Norbert F. Schipper, who died April 26, 2008.
Survivors include, 8 children, Sandra K. (Gerald) Bruns, Maria Stein, OH; Shirley A. (Ronald) Dunn, Anna; Patricia A. (David) Butcher, Botkins; Donald D. "Dino" (Vicki) Schipper, Botkins; Ronald G. "Rino" (Katherine) Schipper, Botkins; Jacqueline M. (Rodney) Maurer, Botkins; Janet K. (Jerry) Schnippel, Wapakoneta; & Judy T. (John) Oellerman, Botkins; 26 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; & 1 step-great great grandchild; a sister-in-law, Joan Stinebaugh, Wapakoneta, several nieces & nephews.
Theresa was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Scott Maurer & Johnny Oellerman, 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey Bruns & Drew King, siblings & spouses, Herbert (Ilo) Stinebaugh, Mary Katherine "Kate" (Virgil) Kohler, Walter (Jean) Stinebaugh, John Stinebaugh, a sister-in-law, Florence Stinebaugh, and brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Leonard (Mary) Schipper, Mary Ann (Kenneth) Fortman, and Irene (Virgil) Hoying.
Theresa worked in the stator-winding dept. of Westinghouse Corp., Lima. She also had worked at Turner Toy Co., Wapakoneta and the Holiday Inn, Sidney.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, and the Ladies' Sodality of the church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, woodworking, and jigsaw puzzles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Fri., Jan. 27, 2017, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial is to follow in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Botkins.
The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Thurs. at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave., (St. Rt. 501) Wapakoneta.
