Mercer County District Library Youth Services Coordinator Amy Broering sets up a display Thursday afternoon for Take Your Child to the Library Day set for Saturday morning. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with story time, followed by arts and crafts, songs and a snack. Take Your Child to the Library is a national event intended to encourage families to visit the library and make memories, Broering said.
