Foster Jones
Foster Eugene "Frostie" Jones, age 70, of Anna, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford, OH.
He was born on January 4, 1947 in Sidney to the late Russell and Charlotte (Jarrell) Jones.
Frostie is survived by three children: Renee (Jeff) Hoying in Celina, Erica Jones and Chris Jones, both of Anna; five grandchildren; and siblings: Tim (Sue) Jones of Charlotte, SC, Jenny (Ronnie) Longmire of Sidney, Chuck (Tina) Jones of Jackson Center and Dave (Tammy) Jones of Sidney.
Frostie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCartyville. He was also a member of Mason, Shriner and Moose Lodge in Sidney.
Frostie was a robotic welder at American Trim for 43 years. He enjoyed fine food, watching and playing golf, boating and motorcycles. Frostie also enjoyed watching race cars and driving them.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 PM on Monday at Adams Funeral Home in Sidney.
