Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Joan Kaiser
Joan C. Kaiser, 86, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on March 2, 2017, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was born October 10, 1930, in Sharpsburg, OH, to the late Ferd and Theresa (Guggenbiller) Brunswick. On September 2, 1950, she married Jerome "Jerry" Kaiser, who died August 24, 2008.
Surviving are her children, Duane (Marian) Kaiser of Dallas, TX, Janet Ryan of Centerville, OH, Linda (Jack) Heitkamp of St. Henry, OH, Roger (Brenda) Kaiser of Coldwater, OH, and Brian Kaiser of Coldwater, OH; siblings, Marceil Wilker of St. Marys, OH, Mark (Marylene) Brunswick of Shapsburg, OH; and Carol (Bob) Evers of Dayton, OH; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Mike Burke of St. Henry, OH; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Brunswick of Sharpsburg, OH.
Preceding her in death are her daughter, Diane Burke; a great grandchild, Daniel Whittington; two brothers, Alton and Maurice Brunswick; a sister-in-law, Norma Brunswick; and a brother-in-law, Bernard Wilker.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Ohio and it's Altar Rosary Sodality. Joan loved using her hands to create beautiful embroidery and she enjoyed baking for her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Monday, March 6, 2017 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, Ohio, Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, Sharpsburg, Ohio.
Calling is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
