Audrey Schlotterer
Audrey Lucille Schlotterer, age 88, of Celina, Ohio passed away at 3:10 pm on Sunday March 5, 2017 at the James Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on July 16, 1928 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late John & Alethea (Overley) Knous. On Oct. 22, 1949 she married Harold Lee "Blacky" Sheets, who died March 26, 1973. Then she remarried on Dec. 26, 1975 to Karl L. Schlotterer, who died on May 6, 1990.
Survivors include her children Lou Ann Skinner of Benton Harbor, MI, John Sheets of Celina, Bob & Robyn Sheets of Celina, Karla & Cecil Stiverson of Celina, her step children Will & Dawn Schlotterer of Sandusky, Phil Schlotterer of Celina, ten grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Barbara Knous of St. Marys.
Audrey was preceded in death by parents, both of her husbands, a grandchild, a great grandchild and her siblings Naomi & Harry "Bob" Krogman, John Darold & Jean Knous, Robert Lee Knous, Norma & George Hoenie and Tom Knous.
She was a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church in Coldwater. Audrey was formerly employed at Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina, then retired from Huffy's in Celina after 26 years of service.
She participated in the Tuesday Bible Breakfast Club and was a past member of the West Central Ohio Quilters Guild. She enjoyed her quilting and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday March 10, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Tom Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Coldwater United Methodist Church.
