Wilma Heiby
Wilma Jean Heiby, age 80 of Celina, Ohio passed away at 2:13 a.m. on Friday March 10, 2017 at the St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice Center in Lima.
She was born on Jan 15, 1937 in Ft. Recovery to the late George H. & Bessi M. (Brigner) Heiby.
Survivors include her sister Patricia "Pat" Boroff of St. Marys, two sisters-in-law Francis Kay Heiby of Celina, Marilyn Heiby of Celina, nieces and nephews Micky (Ellen) Heiby of Perrysville, Monty (Tammy) Heiby of Celina, Lori Heiby of Van Wert, Candy (Mike) Weitz of Celina, Brian (Anita) Boroff of New Bremen, Tim (Marie) Heiby of Coldwater, Jeffy (Amy) Heiby of Celina and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jerry Heiby, Galeon Heiby, two infant brothers and one infant sister.
Wilma graduated from Celina High School in 1955 and received a two year degree in accounting from Vassal University.
She was a member of Beaver Chapel Congregational Christian Church.
Wilma was formerly employed at Ayers Asphalt, Paving and Fred Walls and Sons Asphalt, both in Celina and retired from Roessner Energy Products in Coldwater.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and helping the elderly. Her favorite past-time was quilting, scrap booking and reading.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday March 13, 2017 at the Grace Missionary Church in Celina, with Rev. Bruce Head officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and an hour before services at the Church on Monday.
