Ronald Corrigan
Ronald F. Corrigan, 80, Saint Marys, Ohio, died Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Saint Marys Living Center.
He was born November 19, 1936, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the son of Francis and Carolyn (Nicklaus) Corrigan. He married Dona Hall on October 21, 1958, and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2001.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Leroy Kogge of Saint Marys; by six nieces: Jeri (Rick) Lipp of Celina; Nancy (Rodger) Moeller of Celina; Linda (Tony) McDonald of Saint Marys; Kris Holt of Saint Marys; Kay (Edmond) Cordray of Dayton; LuAnn Hyll of Kettering.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and by two sisters: Joyce Kogge and Nancy Hyll.
Ron was a 1954 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He had worked at Marsh Supermarkets previously and spent most of his career as a salesperson for the Gillette Company. He enjoyed fishing and reading.
Graveside burial rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Fr. Barry Stechschulte, officiant. Military honors will be presented by VFW Post 9289 at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, Ron's family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
