Barbara J. Klosterman, 71, Celina, OH died 1:04 p.m. Friday March 17, 2017 at St Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.

She was born July 27, 1945 in Lima, OH to Denver and Martha (Sawmiller) Freewalt.

On December 14, 1963 in St. Marys, OH she married Thomas H. Klosterman, who survives.

She is also survived by: daughter Kimberly (Richard) Shaffer of Rockford, OH; daughter Kandy (fiancee Debbie Kessler) Klosterman of Westerville, OH; 3 grandchildren: Nathan Williams, Kelsey Williams and Emily DiAlbert; 1 great-granddaughter Brynna Williams; sister Debora (John) Smith of Mendon, OH; sister Sheryl (Bill) Roberts of Mendon, OH; sister Dee Smith of Delphos, OH.

She was preceded in death by: parents Denver and Martha Freewalt; sister Marty Freewalt; infant sister Lisa Freewalt.

She worked at Ohio Decorative Products in Spencerville, OH for several years, prior to starting her own cleaning business.

Barb devoted her entire life to her family, making sure they knew beyond a shadow that they were loved. She was steadfast; she weathered the storms of life and never gave up. She served as matriarch with grace and patience; she left her footprint on every occasion and will be sorely missed.

Rites are scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 23, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Pastor Dan Holbrook will officiate the services. Burial will follow at the Mendon Cemetery in Mendon, OH.

Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
