Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Paul Bonifas
Paul E. Bonifas, 61, formerly of Celina, OH died Saturday March 18, 2017 in the emergency department of Defiance Regional Hospital.
He was born September 15, 1955 in Lima, OH to Vernon and Angela (Vogt) Bonifas. On September 29, 2014 in Tennessee he married Julie Van Zile, who survives.
Also survived by: son Cheserie "Chez" (Margot) Bonifas of Coldwater, OH; son Vernon "Bud" Bonifas of Celina, OH; step-son Zachary (Kelsey) Ranshaw of Amana, IA; 4 grandchildren; brother Roger Bonifas of St. Marys, OH; sister Gerri Minnich of Sidney, OH; brother Don Bonifas of Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by: father Vernon Bonifas; mother Angela Bonifas-Boberg; sister Mary Jo Bonifas; nephew Brian Bonifas.
He was a graduate of New Knoxville High School. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for many years in the maintenance department of Dairy Farm Products in New Bremen, OH.
He was a member of VFW Post #5713 in Celina, VFW Post #9289 in St. Marys, and the Eagle Riders Motorcycle Club. His favorite pastimes included camping and riding his motorcycle.
Rites are scheduled to begin 3:00 p.m. Saturday March 25, 2017 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Don Clinger, officiating. Military funeral honors will be provided by the VFW Post #9289.
Visitation will be 11:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
