Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Marjorie Gehret
Marjorie A. (Fiely) Gehret, age 70, Yorkshire, passed away of natural causes Wednesday afternoon, March 22, 2017, at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born March 24, 1946, in Celina, Ohio, to the late Hubert and Florentine (Jutte) Fiely. On September 4, 1968, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea, Margie married Cyril R. Gehret who survives.
Also surviving are six children: Janet & Doug Steinbrunner of Versailles, Karen & Steve Mangen of Yorkshire, Brian & Cheryl Gehret of Versailles, Kevin & Angie Gehret of Fort Loramie, Joyce & Tom Peterson of St. Marys, and Brenda & Ben Mescher of Allen, MI; twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four siblings: Wilma & Joe Barhorst of Philothea, Alice Grieshop of Maria Stein, Ruth & Orville Kunk of Philothea and Vern & Jane Fiely of Coldwater; sisters & brothers-in-law: Mildred Bensman of Versailles, Frances Gehret of Fort Loramie, Alfred & Rose Gehret of McCartyville, Mary Ann & Louis Grieshop of Willowdell, Paul & Bernice Gehret of North Star, Urban & Irene Gehret of Frenchtown, Emma Rita & Dennis Heitkamp of New Bremen, Eva Gehret, Ed & Mary Lee Gehret of Willowdell, Tony & Donna Gehret of Versailles, and Mary Ann & John Kuether of Egypt along with numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers-in-law: John Grieshop, Virgil Bensman, Lawrence, Vernon, and Joe Gehret.
A 1964 graduate of Coldwater High School, Margie was a dedicated homemaker and daycare provider. She was a member St. Nicholas Catholic Church and many years ago, had been 4H club adviser of the Yorkshire Patterson Patchers.
Margie enjoyed country music, traveling with her sisters and an occasional casino excursion. She baked and decorated many wedding cakes over the years and still enjoyed making special occasion cakes for her family. Margie loved being a grandma and great grandma.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, March 27, 2017, at St. Nicholas Church in Osgood with Rev. David L. Zink presiding. Interment will follow at St. Martin Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to Rustic Hope, Cancer Research or charity of donor's choice.
