Mary Ann Kremer
Mary Ann Kremer age 88 of Maria Stein, Ohio died on March 25, 2017 at Otterbein Retirement Center, St. Marys, Ohio.
She was born on March 6, 1929 in Chickasaw, Ohio to the late Lawrence & Elizabeth (Luebke) Lochtefeld. She married Paul E. Kremer on May 24, 1950 in Chickasaw and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2008.
She is survived by children: Nick & Lois Kremer, Fort Recovery, John & Donna Kremer, New Bremen, Charles & Phyllis Kremer, Minster, Dennis & Sharon Kremer, Maria Stein, Vernon & Anita Kremer, Chickasaw, Rev. Teresa Wenrick, Delta, Michael Kremer, Mendon, 18 grandchildren & 27 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons: Robert in 1968 and Joseph in 1982, 1 great grandchild, brothers Omer & Marietta Lochtefeld, Gregor Lochtefeld & Hugo Lochtefeld.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein where she was a lector, a CCD teacher and member of St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of Knights of St. John Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Maria Stein Retreat House. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening and sewing and was a true prayer warrior.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, Ohio with Rev. Gene Schnipke Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28 and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 29.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine of the Holy Relics in Maria Stein.
