Zoo day at the library

The Toledo Zoo's outreach program brought "Amazing Adaptations" to the Coldwater Public Library on Tuesday. Zoo educators showed off a marine toad, one of the largest species of toads in the world; a sea star with an eye on the end of each of its five arms; an eastern diamondback rattlesnake skin; Big Mamma, a blue-tongued skink; a cheetah fur; an African elephant tooth; and Deb, a red-footed tortoise. Afterward, children touched Deb and Big Mamma.
