Brandi Duke
Brandi M. Duke, 30, Celina, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 2, 2017, in the emergency department of Van Wert County Hospital, of injuries sustained in an auto accident earlier in the day at the intersection of US 127 and US 33.
She was born December 17, 1986, in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of Jeffrey and Patricia (Birrell) Duke. They survive in Celina, Ohio.
She is survived by her twin sister, Sherri (Jeffrey) Barhorst of Saint Marys; by her brother, Jarrod (Dakota Stotlar) of Fort Recovery, Ohio. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Skylar, Olivia, Jeffrey, Jr., Gavin, Xander, Corbin, Savannah, Ciara and Brason. She is survived by her paternal grandfather, Charles (Ann) Duke of Lakeland, Florida.
Brandi was a 2006 graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. She had worked at Cooper Foods for many years. She liked fast cars and riding motorcycles; she enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts football team and she loved to spoil her nieces and nephews. She loved music, and played the guitar and drums. She had a big heart, especially for her pug, Max.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, with family friend Doug Baker, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to her family.
