Winners of the Law Day Essay Contest were honored Monday at Mercer County Probate/Juvenile Court. Third-place winner was Rose McGohan of Celina, the daughter of Stacy and Todd McGohan. She was awarded $50. The second-place winner was Andrea Vian of Celina, daughter of Evelyn and Keith Vian. She received $75. The first-place winner was Quad Gilmore of Celina, son of Matt and Amy Gilmore. He won a $100 prize. Also recognized were the students' teachers, Mike Kanney and David Mader of Celina Middle School.
