Areas of fog across the area this morning is reducing visibility to one mile or less in some locations. The fog will diminish in the mid to late morning. Until that occurs, motorists should slow down, use extra caution, and be prepared for changes of visibility along their route.

Leon LaMontagne
Leon L. LaMontagne Sr., 65, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died May 18, 2017, at his home in Fort Recovery, OH.
He was born October 8, 1951 in Watseka, IL, to the late Raymond and Edna (Ryan) LaMontagne. On October 12, 1991, he married Pamela (Schlieper) LaMontagne, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Andrea (Ray) Blackard of Oklahoma City, OK, Leon (Jennifer) LaMontagne, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK and Della (Ryan) Rockwell of Portland, IN; a step daughter, Angela (Ralph) Faber of Princeton, IL; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; four siblings, Shirley Love of Watseka, IL, Geraldine "Geri" Wallace of Janesville, WI, Raymond "Archie" (Sherry) LaMontagne of Martinton, IL and Ed (Trudy) LaMontagne of Watseka, IL; in-laws, Sharlene Schlieper of Era, TX and Linda (Larry) Draper of Seabeck, WA.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Carol Schlieper; sister, Alice Riston; and in-law, Judy Roark.
Leon was a graduate of Donovan High School, Donovan, IL, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired as manager of Midwest Poultry Services (Sunnyside Farms), Fort Recovery.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515 and American Legion Post 345, both of Fort Recovery. Leon enjoyed spending time with his family.
Services are 10:00 am Monday, May 22, 2017 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Matt Feist officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion prayer service will be held 4:45 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion, Fort Recovery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Veterans Plaza Maintenance Fund, Fort Recovery.
