Areas of fog across the area this morning is reducing visibility to one mile or less in some locations. The fog will diminish in the mid to late morning. Until that occurs, motorists should slow down, use extra caution, and be prepared for changes of visibility along their route.

Helen Henkle
Helen J. Henkle, age 86, of Celina, passed away Thursday
evening, May 18, 2017 at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
Born in Mercer County on November 9, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Forest &Cuba Loree (Kugel) Kittle. Helen married Robert Dean Henkle on June 11, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 5, 1980.
Surviving are two daughters, Ellen (Dean) Griesdorn of Coldwater and Rose Kremer (Brian Skinner) of Bluffton, IN, four grandchildren: Ashley Hendricks, Amber & Alison Griesdorn and Blake Kremer, and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Ann Kittle of Celina, sister-in-law, Martha Lou Kittle of Celina, brother-in-law, Phil Fishbaugh of Spencerville, and a number of nieces & nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by seven brothers & sisters: Virginia (John) Zumberge, Elmer "Pete" (Ruth) Kittle, Leonard "Kelly" Kittle, Blanche (James) Andres, Geraldine "Geri" Fishbaugh, Murrel "Charlie" Kittle and Carolyn (Eugene) Sloan.
Helen had worked as a cook for many years at restaurants and facilities in the Celina area. A member of Erastus United Methodist Church, rural Celina, Helen had been active in their women's group. Her favorite pastimes were fishing, cooking and sewing.
Private graveside services will be held for the family at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Laurels of Shane Hill Activities Fund.
Arrangements are being handled by W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
