He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and friends until he was no longer able to do so. He loved his wife and children, and his five grandchildren, who he enjoyed spending time with.
Surviving in addition to his wife Rose are four sons: Robert Buschur of Coldwater, Ohio; Rick (Becky) Buschur of Celina, Ohio; Tony (Angel) Lawrence of Venedocia, Ohio, and Kurt Hawkins of Lakeview, Ohio; and five grandchildren: Mitchell Dukin, Jasmine McChaney, Allison Black, Rease Lawrence, and Tessa Lawrence. Two sisters and one brother also survive: Linda (Bill) Kan of Nashville, Tennessee; Patty (George) Connode of Denver, Colorado; and Charlie (Sharon) Lawrence of Springfield, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 10, 2017 at the Celina American Legion, located at 2510 State Rte. 703, East of Celina, from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Lunch will be served at 3:00 p.m., with Chaplain Rob Johnson having a short service prior to the luncheon.
