Alberta Mertz
Alberta C. Mertz age 97 of formerly of St. Patrick, Ohio died on June 5, 2017 at St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys, Ohio.
She was born on February 18, 1920 in Sharpsburg, Ohio. She married Joseph J. Mertz on September 8, 1949 in Sharpsburg, Ohio. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1992.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: James & Lucy Mertz, Minster, grandchildren Joseph & Shannon Mertz, Amy & Davy Ballinger and Andrew & Katie Mertz, great grandchildren: Noah, Eli, Courtney & David.
Alberta was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters and was the last of her family.
She was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick and a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Fort Loramie.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday.
