Stephen Cook
Stephen C. Cook, age 63 of Celina, Ohio passed away at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus on Sunday June 11, 2017.
He was born on Nov. 29, 1953 in Celina, Ohio to the late Grant and Betty (Wehrkamp) Cook. On May 18, 1991 he married Susan L. Van Horn, who survives.
Also surviving is his daughter Amanda Cook, a brother and sister-in-law Doug and Alice Cook, a sister Sharon Reineke all of Celina and his niece and nephews Troy Reineke, Cory Shiverdecker, Katie and Brian Dabbelt.
Stephen graduated from Celina Senior High School with the class of 1972. Early in life Stephen was a truck driver for Case Leasing, Shroyer Trucking, and E & L Transport. Steve owned Brookside Trucking and was the former owner of Brookside Wood Products.
He enjoyed restoring cars, gas pumps, golf carts and playing golfing. Steve loved to travel and wheel and deal in cars and Antiques.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday June 15, 2017 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Darren Dunten and Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday June 14, 2017 and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral Home.
