Bernard Otten
Bernard Joseph (Barney) Otten (92) a native of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully in Coldwater, Ohio, on June 19, 2017, surrounded by his family.
Barney is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pat (Stonebarger), his 7 children, 6 in-laws, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.
Barney was not only a dedicated family man, but a retired teacher and coach who impacted thousands of people with his energetic personality and zest for life.
A celebration of his life will be held June 23, 2017, from 6-10 pm at the Depot in Coldwater, Ohio, on North Elm Street.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, feel free to make a donation to your favorite charity in Barney's name.
Per his wishes, this is a casual celebration with family and friends.
