Barbara Huelskamp
Barbara Marie Huelskamp, age 88, of Coldwater, Ohio, died Friday, August 11, 2017 at Celina Manor.
She was born July 8, 1929 in Celina to the late Owen & Helen (Walter) Fisher. She married Linus Huelskamp and he died December 12, 1995.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah & Frank Tangeman of Celina; four granddaughters and their husbands, Nicole & Matt Driggs of Celina, Joél & Jason King of Celina, Meagan & Randy Vantilburg of Delaware, OH and Abby & Chris Shadrick of Chickamaga, GA; eleven great grandchildren, Josh, Jaden, Aliyah, Aaren, Brenden, Ryleigh, Anna, Jordyn, Amelia, Owen and Caleb; and a sister-in-law Hilda Fisher and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a son Timothy Huelskamp, a great-granddaughter Taylor Vantilburg and several other angels; brothers Clifford & Rita Fisher and Tom Fisher and sister Fran & Glen Rose.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, gave flags to people whose flags were worn, volunteered at Community Hospital Gift Shop, she baked and gave away cookies and was known as the cookie lady. She helped in cafeterias at schools, bereavement dinners and funerals. She played in the Monday night card league, bowled for many years, was active in the Coldwater V.F.W. Auxiliary where she served as president, and she was on the Community Picnic committee. Barb loved to sew and was an avid fan of Ohio State, the Coldwater Cavaliers, Reds Baseball and the Celina girls' softball of which she hardly missed a game. She worked at Home Bakery in Coldwater for over 30 years, and she frequented the Coldwater McDonald's every day and cherished her friends there.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call 2 to 4 pm Sunday and 9 to 10 am Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
