* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northern Wayne County in east central Indiana... Darke County in west central Ohio... Southwestern Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 900 AM EDT.
* At 756 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Fort Recovery to 7 miles northwest of Muncie, moving south at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include... Richmond, Greenville, Centerville, Arcanum, Hagerstown, Union City, Fort Recovery, Ansonia, New Madison, Fountain City, Dublin, Franklin, Wayne Lakes, Gettysburg, Greens Fork, Pitsburg, Bethel, Hollansburg, Rossburg, and Palestine.
This includes I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 134 and 148.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Delores Peltier
Delores F. (Schlater) Peltier, age 92, formerly of Russia, passed away of natural causes early Saturday morning, August 12, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
She was born December 14, 1924, near Osgood, Ohio, to the late Fred and Bernadine (Albers) Schlater. On September 10, 1947, at St. Nicholas Church in Osgood, Delores married Robert A. Peltier who preceded her in death on December 12, 2007.
Surviving are children: Thomas & Nancy Peltier of Akron, Gerald (dec.) & Nancy Pel-tier of Peachtree City, GA, Teresa & Roger Bey of Versailles, Jacque & Kelly Peltier of Vandalia, and Janelle & Ronald Tipton of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren: Anne and Michael Peltier, Amanda Peltier, Jacquie Lutz and Jason Peltier, Aaron Bey and Alycia Niemeyer, Lauren, Ryan, and Jonathan Peltier, Corey and Claire Tipton along with 16 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Velma & Delbert "Jiggs" Thobe of Maria Stein, Elmer & Carol Schlater of Sidney and Marlene Crusey Rhoades & Ron Rhoades of Sidney; sisters & brothers-in-law: Martha & Cyril Thobe of Chickasaw, Virginia Rosengarten of Fort Loramie and Ruth Millard of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Herbert & Nettie, Alma, Alfred & Norma, Vernon & Lou, Norbert & Vera, and Urban Schlater along with brothers & sisters-in-law: Joseph Crusey, Leroy and Lester Peltier, Marie Raterman, and Wilma Richard Schlater.
Mrs. Peltier was a dedicated homemaker and is warmly remembered by many as a talented seamstress. She had been a long time poll worker for the Shelby County Board of Elections and for a while worked for the Francis Schulze Co.
Delores was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church where she served on the funeral lunch committee and had been active in the former St. Ann's Sodality. She was also a Russia Blood Bank volunteer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 17, 2017, at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia with Fr. Martin Fox presiding. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 to 9:45 AM at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie.
Memorials may be made to The Gathering Place in Russia, St. Remy Church or charity of donor's choice.
