Kandi Hediger
Kandi A. Hediger age 44, Celina passed away Sunday at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton.
She was born in Portland on January 23, 1973, the daughter of Randy and Joan (Brockman) Sutton. She was married November 4, 2004 to Rich Hediger, who survives.
She was employed at Red Gold in Geneva and was a 1991 Jay County High School graduate where she was in the Jay County Band Color Guard.
Surviving are her husband Rich, two sons Dyllan Derrickson of Portland and Dakota Derrickson of Portland, Parents Randy and Joan Sutton of Celina, two step-sons Kris Hunter of O'Fallon, IL and Jon Hediger of Shepherd AFB, TX, two step daughters Holly Diekamper of Boulder IL and Heidi Antony of Melbourne, Australia, two sisters Debra King (husband Scott) of Geneva and Dee Linn (husband Dave) of Celina, her former husband Chad Derrickson of Portland, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00-6:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with a prayer service at 6:00 PM.
