Norma Bergman
Norma Bergman, age 91 of Botkins, Ohio died at 4:55 AM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center.
She was born June 6, 1926 in St. Patrick, Ohio to the late Fredrick & Frances (Wuebker) Berning. She married Nicholas F. Bergman on September 27, 1947 in St. Patrick, Ohio. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2013.
She is survived by children, Diane & Joe Pohlman, Cassella, Betty & Joe Mescher, Versailles, Mary Moeller & friend Mike Schneider, New Bremen, Tom & Mary Bergman, McDonough, GA, Linda & Melvin Behr, Wapakoneta, Jeanne & Tom Boerger, Ft. Loramie, Nicholas Bergman, Jr. Jackson Center, Ron & Jeanie Bergman, Botkins, John & Janet Bergman, Botkins, Elaine & Steve Luthman, Anna, 40 grandchildren & 67 great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren and brother and sister Gene & Irene Berning, St. Patrick, Marie Theis, Sidney, in-law Velma Berning.
She was preceded in death by brothers; Andrew, Sylvester & Fred & Betty Berning.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Rhine, church custodian for 19 years and member of Ladies Sodality of the Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 21, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins with Rev. Sean Wilson celebrant.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 20, and from 9:00 to 9:45 AM on Monday, August 22. Burial will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Rhine.
Memorials may be made to Heritage Manor Activity Fund and Botkins Fire Department.
