Michael Puthoff
Michael C. (Mick) Puthoff, age 72, of Montezuma, died on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at St. Rita's Hospital in Lima.
He was born August 24, 1945 in St. Marys, to the late Cyril (Bud) and Rosella (Sally) (Rosenbeck) Puthoff.
He is survived by three sons, James & Cheryl Puthoff of Conover, Cyril (Bill) Puthoff of Mansfield, Texas and David & Richelle of Terra Haute, Indiana; five grandchildren: Anna, Rylee, Wil, Vanessa and Ashley; siblings and in-laws Bill & Dot Puthoff, Pat Dresher, Mary & Larry Hensley, Deb & Tim Ontrop, Tim & Lynn Puthoff and Ann Puthoff. He is preceded in death by brothers, Thomas & James and a brother-in-law Bill Dresher.
He was a member of the Mercer County Sportsmen's Association; he was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. Mick was an avid outdoorsmen, who loved to fish and do woodworking. Mick worked at Reliable Castings in St. Marys.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, September 1, 2017 at Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and 9 to 10 AM on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
