County engineer says Apex Clean Energy trying to secure local land rights

Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart claims Apex Clean Energy has been attempting to secure land rights from property owners in northern Mercer County for wind turbines, without notifying the public or local governments.
Company representatives, though, told the newspaper they're not actively seeking any new properties in northern Mercer County at this time. [More]

COLDWATER - It was one of those games where not much was happening offensively for either the Coldwater Cavaliers or the Minster Wildcats. It had the feeling of a contest that would be decided by a big play late.

Celina beats Wapak for 1st time since 2012
WAPAKONETA - Celina's Dillon Hoying was clobbered and dropped by a Wapakoneta defender as soon as the ball touched his hands in the end zone. Amazingly, he held on for a 21-yard touchdown catch.
