Sharon Tobe
Sharon M. Tobe, 65, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on October 20, 2017, at State of the Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio.
She was born October 24, 1951, in Coldwater, to the late Otto Jr. and Ruth (DeMange) Tobe.
Surviving are her siblings, Francis (Eileen) Tobe of Fort Recovery, Gary (Susan) Tobe of Union, OH, Sandra (Roger) Groff of Fort Recovery, Linda Tobe of Titusville, FL, Wanda (William) Siefring of Rossburg, Hubert "Butch" Tobe of Fort Recovery, Ivan Tobe of Fort Recovery, Elmer (Mary) Tobe of Fort Wayne, IN, Duane Tobe of Fort Recovery and several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Fort Recovery High School in 1970, Sharon received her bachelors and masters degrees in education from Wright State University. She taught at the Precious Blood School in Dayton, OH and worked part time at Sears, also in Dayton. Following her teaching career, she was employed at the General Motors Moraine Plant.
Sharon was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery and the church's Altar Sodality. She enjoyed reading and working on her lap top and taking care of her four beloved dogs. After retirement she loved the peace of being back on the family farm and enjoyed relaxing in her hot tub.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 3:00 pm-8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Tuesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
