Felony sex charges involve minor

CELINA - A 58-year-old Rockford man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday in Mercer County Common Pleas Court for four second-degree felony charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Jerry L. Fisher accepted a plea agreement on Oct. 27, entering a guilty plea to four of the eight felony counts against him. The other four charges were dismissed. The four five-year sentences are to be served consecutively, judge Jeffrey Ingraham said. [More]

NOBLE TOWNSHIP - A Celina teen involved in a one-vehicle accident over the weekend has died of his injuries.
A Miami Valley Hospital spokesperson confirmed that Seth Bremer, 19, whose vehicle had struck a concrete barrier head-on early Sunday morning, had died. [More]

Celina senior linebacker Kole Murlin earned first team All-Ohio honors in the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association's All-Ohio selections for Division II and III on Tuesday evening.
Murlin earned his honors in Division III as he led the Bulldogs in tackles with 104 with five sacks and was an all-around player, leading the team in scoring with 169 points and was one of the top rushers and receivers this season. [More]
