Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. Edwin "Charlie" Hood, 64, of Amelia, passed away on December 3, 2017.
Born April 15, 1953 in Lima OH, to Hazel Hood and the late Edwin H. Hood. Loving husband of Cindy Hood.
Beloved father of Angela Hood (Robert Walker) and Charles A. Hood. Step-father of Sarah Seitz (Cale) and Steven Nash (Jordan Stefano). Grandfather of Taylor, Vivan, Kailee, Ava, Penelope, Eleanor and Emelia. Brother of Sue Price. Son-In-Law of Elizabeth Rice. Uncle of Chris and Jason Luedeke and Jarrod Roby.
Preceded in death by his sister Carol Luedeke.
Visitation will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home 177 W. Main St. (St. Rt. 125) Amelia, on Saturday December 9, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment Batavia Union Cemetery.
