Mary Nottingham
Mary Nottingham, age 73, of Celina, OH, passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Gatlinburg, TN on December 7, 2017. She was born January 2, 1944, in Celina, to the late Gerald and Elizabeth (Weyandt) Borger. On November 30, 1963 she married Meredith "Mert" Nottingham, and he survives at the residence in Celina.
She is also survived by a son, Jeff Nottingham, Columbus, OH; three daughters, Amy (Eldon) Nottingham Johnson, Urbana, OH, Amanda (Patrick) Nottingham Dial, Columbus, OH, and Michelle Nottingham, Washington, DC; two brothers, Philip (Sheryl) Borger, Franklin, OH, David (Cindy) Borger, Conyers, GA, and a sister, Elaine Tekamp, Coldwater, OH; and two grandchildren, Sloane Henry, and Mercer Dial.
She was preceded in death by brother, Michael Borger and brother-in-law, Daniel Tekamp.
Mary was a 1963 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Celina. She retired from Huffy's in Celina after 20 plus years of service. After retirement, she went on to further her education and graduated from Edison State Community College. Following her education, she volunteered at Family Care Services in Celina for 15 years. Her hobbies included shopping, traveling, crafting and reading. Mary had a special place in heart helping children and adults with special needs, and animal rescue. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Visitation hours will be from 3 - 7 pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial and the celebration of her life will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday morning December 13, 2017 in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, with Fr. Vincent Wirtner C.PP.S., officiating. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the funeral mass at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
