At 444 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Spencerville In Allen County to near Union City, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Greenville, Celina, Wapakoneta, St. Marys, Coldwater, Fort Shawnee, New Bremen, St. Henry, Cridersville, Union City, Ansonia, New Knoxville, Moulton, Wayne Lakes, Mendon, Chickasaw, Burkettsville, North Star, Buckland, and Rossburg.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 114 and 118.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.
When thunder roars, go indoors! Do not stay in the open or seek shelter under trees when lightning threatens.

Betty Giere
Betty C. (Hogan) Giere, age 88, of Coldwater, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home in Coldwater.
She was born June 6, 1929, in Dayton, to the late Edwin "Ted" and Mary (Schenking) Hogan. She married Frederick "Fritz" Giere on August 18, 1951 and he died September 6, 1991.
She is survived by her children: Marlene Easterlin of Maumee, Rick & Marilyn Giere of Celina, Cindy & Roger Brockman of Coldwater, Cheri & Bill Bernard of Minster, Linda & Ed Knapke of St. Henry, Karl & Deb Giere, Dan & Kathy Giere, Larry & Kim Giere, Randy & Cindy Giere, Nick & Lynn Giere, and Neal & Lisa Giere all of Coldwater; 40 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Siblings Bob & Shirley Hogan of Coldwater and Jim & Gayetta Hogan of Celina; and in-laws, Tom Forsthoefel, Oliver Giere, and Gay Giere all of Coldwater and Ruth Brown of Wapakoneta.
She is preceded in death by a sister Patty Forsthoefel and in-laws Itter & Bill Otte, LaMar Giere, Rita & Joe McDevitt, Ralph Giere, Salome & Carl Peters, Norb Giere, Ed & Nan Giere, Earl Giere, Frances Brown and Sarah Giere.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and St. Ann's Rosary Altar Sodality. An avid fan of Coldwater School athletics, she loved her family and enjoyed following all of the activities of her grandchildren. Betty started working at Celina Insurance, retired from Community Hospital and volunteered at the school cafeteria.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday and 9 to 10 AM Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
